Method
- Mix all ingredients in a pot and simmer for 1 hour.
- Turn off the heat and slowly add the half-and-half or light cream.
Notes
The amounts are mere suggestions. You can get away with four 14.5-oz cans or two 28-oz cans of tomatoes, for example, rather than the 1500 grams, or a pint of light cream rather than the 550 grams.
