Broccoli Cheese Rice Casserole

Ingredients
  

  • 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can condensed cream of celery soup
  • 185 g white rice
  • 225 g Velveeta cheese
  • 0.5 onion chopped
  • 4 stalks celery chopped
  • 113 g butter
  • 280 g chopped broccoli

Equipment

  • 1 medium casserole dish e.g., 9"x13"

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Prepare the rice according to the package directions. If using frozen chopped broccoli, prepare according to the package directions as well.
  3. Sauté chopped onion and celery in butter.
  4. Mix all ingredients together in a casserole dish.
  5. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 30–45 minutes or until bubbly.

Notes

Feel free to substitute a different condensed soup for the cream of celery if you want a different flavor. The same goes for Velveeta: pick the flavor you want or the one that’s available.
