Vinaigrette Salad Dressing

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 0.5 tsp salt or to taste
  • 1 tsp black pepper ground, to taste
  • 0.5 tsp garlic powder
  • 0.5 tsp paprika
  • 0.5 tsp powdered mustard
  • 0.25 tsp dried tarragon
  • 120 ml vinegar
  • 60 ml water
  • 240 ml olive oil

Method
 

  1. Place the sugar and spices in a jar or cruet.
  2. Add the vinegar and water. Shake well.
  3. Add the olive oil and shake well again.
  4. Store in the refrigerator. Shake thoroughly before serving.

Notes

You can change up the spices to suit your tastes. The critical part is the vinegar-to-oil ratio, which should be from 1:2 to 1:3.
